The Fictional Ruin Series

The Fictional Ruin Series reimagines everyday objects from the modern era as artifacts unearthed in a distant future. Using a variety of materials and techniques, I create sculptures and installations that evoke decay and corrosion, emphasizing the impermanence of culture and technology.

This concept challenges traditional views of time and history, prompting viewers to critically examine the narratives embedded in familiar objects. It invites audiences to consider how today's mundane items might one day be regarded as valuable cultural relics by future civilizations. Through my work, I initiate a dialogue on the ephemerality of material existence and the fluid nature of time, inspiring contemplation on the interconnectedness of the past, present, and future.

This artistic exploration serves as a unique lens through which to view history, modernity, reality, and imagination. I see it as a privilege to share this journey with my audience, aiming to spark curiosity, understanding, and deep reflection on the evolving significance of objects and the narratives they carry.
